Ngā mihi o Matariki, te tau hou Māori

Ngā mihi o Matariki, te tau hou Māori.

Matariki is a time for celebration, reflection and remembrance. Today, we acknowledge those who have been before us, and to be thankful for those who are here with us.

As the new year approaches, we are excited to share some news. After a stellar couple of years, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Lauren Paddy to Senior Consultant. Lauren has built strong relationships with our clients in particular in the health sector, forestry mahi, and iwi. Please support us in congratulating Lauren (or L.P. as she’s known around the office).

We have further bolstered our senior team with Kishan Naran joining us as a Senior Consultant. Kishan is fresh from Parliament and will be based in Wellington. He is our go-to for government relations and public policy mahi – sure to be a busy man over the coming election period and beyond.

We also welcome, Lauren Mead-Johnstone as Team Administrator. Lauren joins us from the fitness industry, just in time to help get us ready for the run up to 14 October, and summer!

A bit about Lauren, Lauren, and Kishan.

Lauren Paddy joined C2 from Newshub, where she was a Chief Reporter in the radio team. During her time at the broadcaster, she covered a range of major news events and stories. Now an established part of our team, Lauren uses her experience to support clients with media engagement and media training. Lauren has a keen eye for detail and (still) loves a deadline. Being a journalist by trade, she’s full of questions and loves to learn about the people (and the world) around her. Her drive to get new information – whether that be a fact, or an anecdote from someone is what motivates her.

Kishan Naran joins C2 after five years in politics working for the National Party and David Seymour. He has a deep understanding of the complexities of New Zealand’s public sector and law making, and is experienced in strategic communications and media management. As we get closer to the election, we will be drawing on Kishan’s experience to help our clients navigate just what the proposed policies mean and how they may affect you and your operations. Kishan is a proven strategist, who thrives in high pressure environments to deliver the best for clients. He has a knack for asking thought-provoking questions, so that when communications and ideas eventually go public, those he works with are prepared for what others might deem as being unexpected.

Our new Team Administrator, Lauren Mead-Johnstone, is keeping us on our toes and joins C2 after working in the fitness industry for the last five years. Having started her own business in 2021, specialising in supporting clients with their fitness and nutrition needs, Lauren has vast experience in dealing with clients of all different backgrounds. Lauren now supports the team of Senior Consultants. Lauren’s bubbly personality brings great energy to the office, and she’s your go-to if you need support linking into our team.

Of course, Ash and Laura are still working hard behind the scenes too, and Jess when she returns from her maternity leave in the new year and, Scott is just a phone call away!

Lauren, Kishan and Lauren bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to Campbell Squared and our client base and we look forward to showcasing their skills in the months to come.
